Welcome to Therapeutic Arena!
I have worked with hundreds of hard working and motivated parents who tell me every day that raising kids is hard! Every parent that I talk with will share how busy they are and how infrequent their family time is together. They tell me how difficult it is to deal with their child's intense emotions or difficult behaviors. They worry about the amount of time their kids use video games and devices that are addictive and over stimulating. They share how hard it is to manage the peer pressure their children are exposed to on a daily basis. As a parent myself, I understand and can relate to the challenges of wanting to raise a fun loving, responsible child in a stress filled and indulgent world!
Therapeutic Arena's Mission:
The Therapeutic Arena is experienced and passionate about supporting families by focusing on the parent-child relationship. We recognize and honor the parents role in a child’s life and we will collaborate with them to meet the emotional, physical and psychological needs of each child. We will use a positive focus and strength-based approach with each client that will deepen relationships, increase acceptance and validate experiences. We will utilize the child’s natural language of play to best understand how they are processing the world around them and support them in getting their needs met in a healthy and consistent manner.

Are your children struggling with behavioral or emotional issues? Have you tried everything only to have nothing work? That is why it is important to work with someone who is experienced in working with kids. I have helped hundreds of children feel better and get back on track. I understand that children process the world around them differently than adults. I have learned that children think differently than adults making it hard for parents to understand. I have learned what tools work for children who are struggling and how to connect with children who have a hard time talking about their feelings and taking accountability for their behaviors. Using my experience, I will help children learn to cope with their strong feelings and manage their behaviors so they are back to being their happy, loving selves again.
